OPENING A TAEKWON-DO SCHOOL
PRELIMINARY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Achieve at least 1st Degree Blackbelt
- Complete the Safeguarding course
- Receive DBS Certification through Hollingsworth Taekwon-Do
- Complete a Basic First Aid Course and hold current certification
COMPLETE THE HTKD CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE
This training course which covers all aspects of teaching Taekwon-Do is held twice a year. This course includes all HTKD Policies, Syllabus, Instructor training and expansion support. All instructors will also receive 1 years Public Liability Insurance
NEW SCHOOL APPLICATION PROCESS
- When the above requirements are fulfilled you are ready to apply to open a HTKD School
- Provisionally arrange a venue (remember opening the club will be subject to approval by HTKD)
- Complete in full the HTKD New club Application form (please email admin@htkd.co.uk) for this
- Send the completed form along with a copy of DBS, First Aid Certificate & Public Liability Insurance Certificate
